Health teaching on DENGUE and WOUND CARE

Within large and small communities alike, there are dangers that present itself on a daily basis, an example would be a vector-borne viral infection, Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever that has gripped the entire nation. Also, in a highly industrialized country like the Philippines even small municipalities like Sindangan is faced with occupational hazards or the general risk of injuries from both home and work. Here the team has put together a presentation on Dengue and Basic Wound Management, providing an avenue for the denizens of Brgy. Doña Josefa to help mitigate or prevent these dangers. Visual aids were created to help the people understand the basics of Dengue and also Wound Management. The goal of this activity was to ensure that the people would have proper and adequate knowledge should the occasion arise.
